Weekly Challenge: Strength

Weekly Challenge: Strength

Updated: Oct 30, 2018

This week, the theme is to:

Photograph Strength

This week, photograph strength - of all sorts. Men with big, bulging muscles come to mind or powerful animals. This can be one way to think of strength.

Strength can also be graceful and artistic.

But this isn't the only way to think about strength. Maybe go for something deeper and show someone's inner strength or strength in the face of adversity or strength of character.

We also build strength into structures so architecture works for this challenge as well if it in someway says to you "strength" in its construction.

Finding strength is often a theme of motivational memes. This may be a week to create a meme using a photo and a quote about strength. I use Canva to put text on photos, but there are many programs that will do this. Hint - choose a photo with a minimal background.

Some of my favorites:

Calm mind brings inner strength and self-confidence, so that's very important for good health. - Dalai Lama
Unity is strength... when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved. Mattie Stepanek
Some of us think holding on makes us strong; but sometimes it is letting go. Hermann Hesse
